The training session speaker on February 27th, 2005 was Al Kempf Jr., Bosun and Navigator of Friends Good Will. He spoke on the dynamics of sailing and how winds affected the course of global travel with ships of sail as they were used in earlier times. He also shared how they may affect Friends Good Will on Lake Michigan when she begins to take visitors for excursions.
